A single membership at Workout 24/7 costs $39.95 a month in both Wells and Osakis, MN, plus a one-time $49 joining fee that covers your key. A couple or 2-person membership is $74.95 a month and a family membership is $99.95 a month. Both of those have a one-time $68 joining fee.
The Wells and Osakis gyms charge the same rates, so this page covers both towns.
What are the monthly rates at Workout 24/7?
Workout 24/7 has three membership types, and the monthly price is the same at the Wells gym and the Osakis gym.
- Single: $39.95 a month, $49 one-time joining fee
- Couple or 2-person: $74.95 a month, $68 one-time joining fee
- Family: $99.95 a month, $68 one-time joining fee
The monthly rate doesn't change with the length of your term. A 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month membership costs the same per month, so you don't have to sign up for a full year to get the lowest rate. Pick the term that fits how long you know you'll use it.
Both gyms are open 24 hours with a key and have the same equipment: free weights, benches and racks, strength machines and cable stations, treadmills, bikes and ellipticals, open floor space for stretching and warm-ups, and restrooms. There are no classes or personal trainers, and the gyms aren't staffed. If you want to know what that's like day to day, read what to expect at a keycard gym with no staff.
How much does the first year cost in total?
On a 12-month term, the first year at Workout 24/7 costs $528.40 for a single membership, $967.40 for a couple, and $1,267.40 for a family. Those totals are twelve months of the monthly rate plus the one-time joining fee, and they're the same in Wells and Osakis.
- Single: $39.95 × 12 = $479.40, plus $49 joining fee = $528.40
- Couple or 2-person: $74.95 × 12 = $899.40, plus $68 joining fee = $967.40
- Family: $99.95 × 12 = $1,199.40, plus $68 joining fee = $1,267.40
Shorter terms
If you'd rather start with a shorter commitment, here's what a single membership costs over the full term, joining fee included:
- 3 months: $119.85 plus $49 = $168.85
- 6 months: $239.70 plus $49 = $288.70
- 12 months: $479.40 plus $49 = $528.40
For a couple or family membership, multiply the monthly rate by the number of months and add the $68 joining fee.
Can I cancel a Workout 24/7 membership anytime?
No. A Workout 24/7 membership is a signed agreement for a set term of 3, 6, or 12 months, and it runs to the end of that term. Once the term is up, you can renew or stop.
If something changes partway through your term, call your town's gym. A freeze or a transfer is usually possible, and Workout 24/7 would rather work something out than have a member just disappear. Since the monthly rate is the same on every term, a 3-month term costs no more per month if you're not sure about a full year.
Is there a military discount?
Yes. Workout 24/7 gives a 10% military discount at both the Wells and Osakis gyms to active duty, National Guard, and veterans.
Bring your ID the first time, and the discount stays on your monthly rate. Ten percent off works out to:
- Single: $35.96 a month instead of $39.95
- Couple or 2-person: $67.46 a month instead of $74.95
- Family: $89.96 a month instead of $99.95
On a 12-month single membership, that brings the first year to about $480 with the $49 joining fee added, instead of $528.40.
What other fees are there, and how do I pay?
Besides the monthly rate, Workout 24/7 lists two other costs: the one-time joining fee and a $20 fee if you need a replacement key.
- Joining fee: $49 for a single membership, $68 for couple or family. This is paid once and covers your key.
- Replacement key: $20 if your key is lost or needs replacing.
The monthly rate is paid by automatic withdrawal from a checking account or a card. Cash or check works for the joining fee and the key.
